  • Kojo Blavo serves as a Volunteer Digital Content Support for Street Haven at the Crossroads, a Toronto-based non-profit dedicated to assisting marginalized women. In this role, Kojo contributes to the organization’s mission by supporting the development and management of digital content that highlights Street Haven’s programs, services, and community impact. With a strong background in translation, communications, and creative content development, Kojo brings a detail-oriented and strategic approach to digital storytelling. His work helps ensure that Street Haven’s message reaches a wider audience, fostering awareness, engagement, and support for women navigating challenges such as homelessness, trauma, and social isolation. Kojo is passionate about using his skills to amplify voices that are often overlooked and to contribute meaningfully to causes that empower vulnerable communities. Through his volunteer efforts, he strives to bridge creativity with advocacy, supporting Street Haven’s vision of hope, healing, and transformation for women in need.

We also provide a in-house Job Developer who works closely with each client to build their confidence and readiness for the workforce. From attending hiring fairs and networking events to connecting with industry mentors, we provide hands-on support every step of the way.

Sessions run every Thursday, 1–3pm, at 850–8th Floor, 36 Toronto St. Collect stamps each week—attend all sessions to receive a special gift and a Certificate of Completion.

The Inclusion Project also aims to help businesses identify barriers for women at their workplace such as Gender Bias in Male-Dominated Industries and Lack of Inclusive Workplace Policies. 

"Of the 1.6 million people who were unemployed in July 2025, 23.8% were in long-term unemployment, meaning they had been continuously searching for work for 27 weeks or more" (Labour Force Survey, July 2025)
