Another successful year for Street Haven! 🏡 We came together for our AGM to reflect on the past year's achievements and share what's coming next. None of it would be possible without our incredible volunteers, supporters, and team. Up the stairs. Down the hall. Into every room where the work happens. This week we hosted @canadalifeco at Grant House, our addictions and mental health program, as @uwgreaterto kicks off campaign season. Canada Life's support of United Way helps fund programs like ours — so instead of just telling them about it, we showed them. We gave them the full tour, then sat down to talk about what Grant House means for the women who come through our doors, and how it changes lives. Because reading about impact is one thing. What a day at the @yorkvillerun 🧡 We hung out with our co-founder Jordan, ran alongside our incredible lead fundraiser Daniel (@dc.rainbowjeans ), who has raised $7,803.83 and counting, and met so many amazing community partners, donors, and former residents who came out to celebrate with us, including @limab . We were also honoured to have Ontario's Solicitor General, Michael Kerzner (@mppkerzner), join us for the day in support of women rebuilding their lives after crisis. The energy was unreal. Every high five, every donor who stopped to say hi, every former resident who came back to run with us, that's the Street Haven community in one place, and it filled our hearts. We're SO close to our $10K goal.
