Who We Are
Street Haven’s Virtual Psychoeducation Program offers a supportive, recovery-focused space for women looking to strengthen their wellness, recovery, coping skills, and community connection — at any stage of their journey. Our approach is trauma-informed, client-centered, and rooted in dignity, compassion, and empowerment. We know recovery looks different for everyone, so we focus on helping participants learn, grow, and build healthier routines together, in a respectful and confidential environment.

How To Join
Getting started is simple. Participation begins with a short referral and screening process with our team. Please fill out our referral form and our team will contact you about next steps.
Who can Join
- This program is open to women who:
- Have access to a phone, tablet, or computer
- Want to strengthen recovery & wellness goals
- Are willing to engage in a supportive, confidential group
- Can participate safely and respectfully in group discussion
- Not the right fit if you're:
- Currently in an immediate crisis needing intensive support
- Requiring a higher level of clinical or medical care
- Unable to participate safely in a group setting
Note: Fit is confirmed through a short intake and screening process with Street Haven staff.
Certificate of Completion
Finish the program and you’ll receive an official Certificate of Completion and a completion letter from Street Haven — plus an open invitation to continue as an alumna.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Do I need to pay for this program?
No. Street Haven’s Virtual Psychoeducation Program is completely free of cost for participants.
Who facilitates the sessions?
Trained, experienced Street Haven staff who support women in addiction, mental health, recovery, wellness, harm reduction, and community support.
Where does the program take place?
Entirely online, live via Zoom. You’ll receive the Zoom link and participation details before the program starts. There is currently no in-person option.
What if I miss a session?
Just let staff know as soon as you can. To earn a Certificate of Completion, you’ll want to attend at least 12 of the 16 sessions, but attendance concerns are always discussed case-by-case — we’re here to help you stay connected, not to penalize you.
What happens after I complete the program?
You’re welcome to keep attending as an alumna on a drop-in basis. To stay active as alumni, we ask for at least one group session a month.
Do I need to be abstinent to participate?
No. We recognize recovery looks different for everyone, including abstinence-based and harm-reduction goals. We just ask that everyone participate respectfully and safely within the group.
What do I need to participate?
A phone, tablet, laptop, or computer with internet or phone connection, and a space where you can join comfortably and, where possible, privately.
