Is Street Haven a registered charity?
Yes. Street Haven at the Crossroads is a registered Canadian charity. Charitable registration number: #12953-5175-RR0001. All eligible monetary gifts receive an official tax receipt.
When will I receive my donation receipt?
Online donations through Canada Helps generate an automatic receipt by email within minutes. Cheque donations receive a mailed receipt within 4–6 weeks. Monthly donors receive a single annual receipt each February.
Can I donate by cheque?
Yes. Payable to Street Haven at the Crossroads, mailed to #1001-2 Carlton Street, Toronto, ON M1B2J3. Include your name and return mailing address for your receipt.
How do I know my donation reaches the women you serve?
Street Haven publishes annual reports and financial statements and is audited each year. Our charitable number allows you to look us up on the CRA public charity registry at any time.
Can I direct my gift to a specific program?
Yes. Note your preference (e.g. emergency shelter, Grant House, training services, housing) in your donation message or email fundraising@streethaven.com.
Do you accept in-kind donations year-round?
Yes. Specific item needs change with the season. Contact us before dropping off to confirm current needs and arrange a convenient time.
Who do I contact for corporate partnership inquiries?
