One-Time Giving
Your gift goes directly to women who need shelter, meals, mental health supports, addictions recovery, job training, and housing for women in Toronto. Your support gives a new start to hope and dignity.
Street Haven is a registered Canadian charity where all eligible gifts receive an official tax receipt.
Impact by donation amount
$25 – Provides a personal hygiene kit that helps a woman in our shelter feel cared for, confident and clean.
$50 – Provides a woman with three nutritious meals and snacks for a week.
$100 – Fills a basket of the household essentials a women needs as she moves from our shelter into her new home.
$200 – Provides a woman with one week of safety, warmth, and peace of mind in our shelter.
How to donate
Online
Donate securely through our donations page attached below. You will receive a tax receipt by email.
By cheque
Make your cheque payable to Street Haven at the Crossroads and mail to below given address:

Donor Note
If you would like to direct your gift to a specific program such as the emergency shelter, Grant House addiction recovery program, training services, or housing outreach, please note your preference in the donation comments or email fundraising@streethaven.com.

Monthly donors are the backbone of Street Haven. A predictable, recurring gift lets us plan ongoing programs for women to buy essential items and build futures. When you give monthly, your generosity is multiplied and every cent goes directly to shelter, housing, mental health, addiction, training & employment supports.

Additional ways to give regularly
Payroll giving
Ask your employer’s HR team whether they offer a payroll giving or charitable deduction program. Payroll donations are automatic, pre-tax, and require no extra effort once set up.
Employer matching
Many employers match employee charitable donations dollar-for-dollar or more. Ask your HR department if a matching program is available and nominate Street Haven as your charity of choice.
